Just got new halogen headlights?

it seems that when i turn on my headlights the beam pattern is pointing up instead of down towards the road, is there a way that i can reposition my headlights so that they are centered to the ground?

Dumb question for you.

Are they in upside down?

It is possible to install a sealed beam upside down, and what you're describing is the result. I've seen it many times. Check the part number on the headlight and make sure it's right side up. If they are in upside down, the high beams should hit the road right in front of the car when activated.

Check that before you start trying to aim them.

Go to your Auto Parts store and buy the manual for the car you own. Know the year, make and model of your car and pay the 20 dollars. In that manual is everything you need to know about this car. It should show you how to aline your lights in an easy way.

There should be some screws near the headlights (if you pop the truck open) that you can adjust to get the beams pointed correctly. Or, you could just have your repair shop do it for probably not much money...
